Massage and Spa Treatments
Fancy health spas are now standard equipment at all major Las Vegas hotels, and there's no better way to wind down after a rigorous tennis match (or a big night in the casinos) than to place yourself in the capable hands of a talented massage therapist. In-room therapy is available at most hotels, but the saunas, steam baths, fitness facilities, salon services and posh treatment rooms can make a visit to the spa much more relaxing. Good bets include:
 Canyon Ranch SpaClub
Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Venetian, the biggest spa and fitness facility in town with dozens of private treatment rooms, abundant exercise equipment, a 40-foot indoor climbing wall and an extensive menu of massage therapies and beauty treatments.
Information: Canyon Ranch SpaClub, (702) 414-3600
 Rock Spa
The Rock Spa at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where body treatments range from 25-minute "quick fix" rubdowns to 80-minute Swedish, deep tissue or hot stone massage -- or try the signature Mediterranean Organic Veggie Wrap, which is not part of the lunch menu, but a 50-minute facial using a blend of botanical extracts.
Information: The Rock Spa, (702) 693-5554
 Elemis Spa
Elemis Spa at the Aladdin, the first North American outpost of a British purveyor of high-end aromatherapy products, with an exotic Moroccan-themed interior and 35 private treatment rooms. Spa services derived from the flagship Elemis Day-Spa in London encompass a wide range of massage therapies that combine therapeutic techniques and traditions from around the glove.
Information: Elemis Spa , (866) 935-3647
 Spa Vita di Lago
Spa Vita di Lago, about half an hour east of town at the sybaritic Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas, where resort guests and daytime spa visitors can enjoy a deeply relaxing break from the bustle of the Strip. A full menu of massage treatments and other spa services is offered here in luxurious surroundings.
Information: Spa Vita di Lago, (702) 567-4600
 Spa Mirage
Spa Mirage, a gorgeous facility at the mid-Strip hotel that ushered in the age of modern mega-resorts in Las Vegas. Separate whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms are available for men and women, plus a spacious and well-equipped fitness center. Available massage and beauty treatments include the signature Mirage Miracle, in which the body is wrapped with a natural botanical wax gathered by honeybees and, then slathered with warm coconut milk.
