I watch alot of tennis. Do you want good commentary? Something you can listen to all day without getting bored? Commentators who don't talk about themselves, their lives, the state of the world affairs? Commentators with more excitement and enthusiam for the game of tennis than for themselves and what they did 20 years ago? Tune in to Robby Konig and Jason Goodall!
Absolutely agree, Koenig and Goodall are the absolute best commentators in tennis. I even like Doug Adler. I can't stand listening to mary carillo, martina n, ted robinson, etc. They ruin the matches. I wish that Jason and Robbie coul have the call for every match.
they are the best--we are subjected to american announcers who believe they are celebrities and can't shut up. I have to watch on mute-they never take a breath, during a serve, a point, etc. They should have been radio announcers as they regurgitate over and over what we have just seen with our own eyes. When Koenig and crew are on I acturally turn up the volumn because I know I will learn something and because they are brillient announcers who speak to you at the right times, instead of screaming throughout the match. They make you feel as though you are at the match yourself and not being taught in a second grade classroom. I wish I could find their email address and ask them to please never change and not be influenced by our americans, who sound like children in a playpen.,
