Can you spare a nasty, wet wristband???

Memo to the winners of matches: please spare us the tossing of your nasty, wet  wristband for a souvenir!! You're making tons of money and a used, sweat stained wristband is all you can show as an appreciation for the fans who by the way pays for your effort? It's not like you pay for your racquet, shoes and apparel you wear. Toss a  racquet, shirt, towel or even  a pair of your well worn shoes to the crowd and see how much they appreciate it, and please, even if you lose, have the heart to sign autographs!! Saw a rarity in men's tennis in the third round of Wimbledon, in a losing cause after losing to Nadal in straight sets, Nicolas  Kiefer threw one of his racquet to the admiring crowd, a gesture I didn't one would see from the German considering his demeanor on the court. Whoever caught that racquet would would most likely treasure that souvenir more than a wet, nasty wristband!!

I agree.  What makes you think the fans would want a sweaty wristband or anything else that is sweaty and stinky.
