The Tennis channel is so new. There are so many avenues you can take.
Matches are good, Open Access is AWESOME! Closed Access was FANTASTIC! Tennis Channel needs more substance though.
How about doing some countdown shows? I want to see Murphy Jensen host a 100 bloopers in Tennis. You know, one of the top 100 would be when Gicquel got hit with a 120 mph serve right where it counts! You get the idea! You could even do a top 100 greatest tennis moments. Murphy is hilarious and knowledgable. He would be the perfect person to do these shows. IT BETTER BE MURPH!
FASHION!--- Why don't you get Fila, Nike, Tail, Adidas to throw money at you for some air time. You need a cool Fashion show. One a young, edgy chick like me should be hosting! What's hot, what's not in tennis wear this season. Showcase the new lines coming out. Man, you can even get Venus to show her 11 line. You gotta get a cute young chick to do it. Not some older gal.
REALITY TENNIS!---- Why don't you send a group of people of to Tennis camp and document it. see how they improve or DON'T! Just kidding. You could send them to one of the famous camps and I am sure the camps would love to sponsor the stay because they would get exposure.
oooh! How about a reality tennis show about today's USTA ladies' tennis and all of the catfights. That would be good! Alot of ladies could identify.
or how about some kind of Reality Tennis game show. I can think of something cool, but i have not had enough coffee yet this morning. Drop people off at any part of the world and make 'em play tennis against a team that is in that country. Funny! Yeah!

How about they just show more matches and less fluff? That is my opinion as a hardcore tennis enthusiast. If I can tune in almost any hour of the day and see a match, I will pay almost ANYTHING to get the Tennis Channel. If I can tune in almost any hour of the day to see what so and so has in their tennis bag or some lady traveling to different resorts displaying the same bad forehand technique and overall lack of a game that most of the people I teach day in and day out have, I will not be a happy subscriber. I also get ENOUGH of the political backstabbing crap that goes on in USTA Leagues on a weekly basis... PLEASE NO MORE OF THAT!!
jr10spro, you are funny! clearly bitter, but all the same very funny! Your comment about the "lady traveling to different resorts' was priceless and harlarious! But all in all, you've been around. Looking at TV coverage of the tennis over the past 5 years. Would you not agree the tennis channel is a huge improvement and major milestone for "hardcore tennis enthusiast" like yourself? I think any idea is a good one, as long as it involves tennis. hats off the person willing to throw out random ideas.
