ESPN should be stripped of its right to cover tennis. Today, rather than showing the Chilbulka vs. Cornet semifinal live, they chose to use the 2 hour airtime to replay Sharapova's quarterfinal match!!!!
ESPN, you suck and everyone knows it. You have no right covering tennis. I'm glad you lost Davis Cup, Indian Wells, and Miami. I only wish you never cover another tennis tourny again, as you are an abortion. Cliff Drysdale is the chief abortion doctor. He absolutely stinks. He is a fraud, he lies, he decieves, he steals other tennis pro's work product, and runs a sham of a tennis management company. His pros stink, and their philosophy and method s grossly ineffective, and is causing children to leave his clubs. Cliff Dyrsdale looks people right in the eyes, and lies to them. His puppet, Patrick McEnroe isn't too far behind him. Patrick has his nose so far up Drysdale's buttocks that the back of his neck even reeks of human ***. You can clealr tell who mentored P Mac on his commentating skills.
Together, P. Mac and Drysdale are dumb and dumber. No, wait, they hope to one day become dumb and dumber. Beavis and Butthead come to mind as well.
ESPN has ruined tennis coverage for quite some time and they will continue to do so, too bad for us tennis viewers. I have e mailed their contact us many a time to no avail as they do as they please. Showing Sharapova's tape match over live semi match was about the last straw but ESPN could care less about our complaints. ESPN only shows tennis when it does not interfere with their regular big time sports, we are at their mercy. I was hoping ESPN one day would give up all their rights to the TC but now we see the TC has become a variety show and live tennis is not part of their program anymore. ESPN knows tennis does not draw as big an audience as other major sports and sadly we have to live with that.
Thank heaven for the Tennis Channel. I LOVE it ! ESPN only does cursory and spotty coverage of tennis. Love Bag Check, love No Strings, love the consistent tourny coverage.
ESPN and NBC shouldn't even be allowed to utter the word "tennis". I'm dreading the men's semifinal day on Friday shown on NBC. I never understand why they have to butt in and show the matches recorded when they're doing just fine showing them live on Tennis channel. I shudder to think of the fiasco that ESPN will make of the US Open next year. I'm thinking of investing in a good telescope and trying my luck with that rather than waste my time attempting to watch the coverage on ESPN and NBC.
You are right. ESPN does a sorry job of covering tennis. They should stop.
